Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Account Executive to manage critical financial functions within our growing organization. This role is essential in ensuring accurate payroll execution, sound financial reporting, and deep insight into company expenditures and performance. The ideal candidate thrives on numbers, accountability, and continuous financial improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Salary & Commission Management
- Calculate and process staff monthly salaries and incentive-based commissions accurately and on time
- Maintain proper records of all salary, bonus, and incentive payments
Bank Payment Operations
- Initiate and manage company payments through online banking (salary disbursement, supplier payments, etc.)
- Ensure timely settlement and accurate reconciliation of transactions
Financial Reporting & Management Accounting
- Prepare monthly management accounts including Profit & Loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Track company revenue, COGS, and operational expenses across all departments
- Conduct monthly financial performance reviews with management
Financial Analysis & Advisory
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities, overspending trends, and profit leakage
- Provide recommendations to optimize spending, improve margins, and support strategic decision-making
Process & Compliance Support
- Maintain up-to-date financial records in accordance with internal SOPs and statutory requirements
- Support auditors, tax agents, and external consultants with required documentation and reporting
- Support admin department to help manage stocktake to make it tally with accounting.
Requirements
- ACCA GRADUATE
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar finance/accounting role
- Proficient in Excel, accounting software (e.g. SQL, Xero, or QuickBooks), and online banking platforms
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to work under minimal supervision
- Good analytical skills and business sense
Bonus Skills (Preferred, but not mandatory)
- Familiar with e-commerce business model and commission-based teams
- Experience generating insights from financial dashboards or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with Malaysian payroll, tax, and statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB)
